This site was developed to be a resource for anyone who is interested in the real estate market in Des Moines and the surrounding areas. My hope is this will develop into a platform for sharing information and opinions about real estate on a  local  as well as on a  national level. I also hope to have some fun along the way. You are invited to participate whether you are considering purchasing or selling a home, working in the real estate/mortgage business or just interested in real estate topics.

About Me

My name is Kevin Howe and I am a sales associate with Iowa Realty. I currently work in the Waukee office and work with buyers and sellers all over  the central Iowa area.

I began my real estate career in 2004. Prior to that my background was in information technology. I worked for several IT and telecommunication companies in the greater Des Moines area including AT&T, NCR and Norstan Consulting. My background has allowed me to leverage my IT experience and take advantage of opportunities to use technology in the buying and selling process.

I believe that technology will play a big role in how people buy and sell real estate in the future and I am enthusiastic about the possibilities. This blog is a step in that direction. I am always open to your feedback and I hope you will visit often.
